The dust is settling as the last of our summer company heads for home.
The quiet eases back in with the advent of school and Nina’s return to work.
The laughing, playful boy has gone back to Missouri.
We’ve traveled and done campfire ‘catch ups’.
We walked along the mountain creeks
and hiked to an amazing mountain top lake.
We squeaked in a little saddle time.
and now it’s time to say g’bye
to the play days of summer.
Blessings, Dear Hearts.
I hope all of your summers held precious treasures as well.
May your next season bring equally wonderful blessings.
God is good.
