85 Years of Self-Discipline

There are days that I don’t want to get out and do my walk. My backside grabs that chair and doesn’t want to let go. I make myself go. I have never had a day where I regretted it.

The walks have gotten shorter and slower over the years, but this fresh mountain air is as good for me as the exercise. I have learned to not push myself. I enjoy stopping and looking at the three different mountain ranges visible from our valley floor. I am thankful that God has set me down in such a beautiful place. I am thankful DiAne walks with me.

A thankful heart and good company are like real butter on homemade bread.

Love to you all,
